b. Provided leadership in resolving issues relating to the execution of the Gas Sales Purchase Agreement (GSPA) for Brass Methanol Project to unlock $3billion investments in the gas industry.
c. Midwifed the reconstruction of the MDGIF Council and guidelines, which is set to inject much needed funds to resolving infrastructure issues in the Midstream and Downstream gas sectors.
a. Midwifing the multi-billion dollar Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) and Obrikom, Obiafo, Oben (OB3) gas pipeline projects to meet their completion deadlines.
b. Driving bilateral discussions on the Nigeria – Morocco gas pipeline project that is to traverse the Republic of Benin, Togo, Ghana, Core d’Ivoite, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea, Guinea – Bissau, The Gambia, Senegal, Mauritania and terminate in Morocco with a spur to Spain for onward sale of gas to Europe.
c. Revitalizing the virtual pipeline mode of gas delivery CNG, Small Scale LNG (SSLNG or mini-LNG) for gas supply to power GBI and the commercial sector.
d. Commissioned the ultra modern 23,000 metric tonnes LPG vessel, Temile 10, which is set to achieve further development of in-country capacity to transport LPG from producers to the domestic market.
e. Commissioned the 3.1million metric tonnes standard cubic feet per day (MMscfd) CNG undertaken by Tetracore Energy Group in Ogun State.
f. Commissioned the 5.2Milliom Metric Standard Cubic Feet per day (MMSCFD) CNG/autogas facility at Ilasamaja, Lagos State.
g. Commissioned the 300 Million Metric Tonnes Standard Cubic Feet per Day (MMscf/d) Kwale Gas Gathering Hub in Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State.
h. Performed groundbreaking ceremonies for NesGas 50,000 metric tonnes LPG Terminal at Onne, Rivers State; Optimera Energy Natural Gas facility in Lekki Free Trade Zone, Lagos; 5.2MMscfd Liquefied Natural Gas LNG facilities by Tetracore Energy Group in Ogun State; Windek Energy Limited 20,000 metric tonnes LPG depot in Atabrikang Aquaha, Ibeno LGA, Akwa Ibom State. These projects hold the prospect of generating over 100,000 jobs to Nigerians on completion.
i. Under his watch, the AHL Gas processing plant; ANOH Gas processing plant; and the 23.3kmx36 inch ANOH-OB3 gas pipeline projects were recently commissioned in Delta and Imo States.
a. Collaborated with the Ministry of Power to establish an inter-ministerial gas task force to address the challenges associated with low gas supply to gas-fired thermal power plants in the country.
b. Supervised and ensured the resolution of gas supply issues to the 141MW Geometric Power Plant in Aba, Abia State which was commissioned on Monday, February 26, 2024.
c. Pushed through the Decade of Gas to resolve legacy indebtedness to gas producers in the power sector.
d. Ensured the release of base price of domestic natural gas for the strategic sectors.
a. Supervised the domestication of all LPG produced within the country with the target of stabilizing the price of LPG in the domestic market.
b. Sustained initiative in engaging stakeholders on terms to unlock deep water gas.
c. Ensuring the implementation of the PIA by regulators to unlock the potential in the gas sector in order to achieve a gas-based economy.
a. Held successful retreats with internal stakeholders (NNPC Ltd, NUPRC, NMDPRA, PTDF, NNRA, NCDMB, PTI) and external stakeholders in the gas sector to ensure that the pulse of the industry operators is felt and solutions are found to stimulate further development in the sector.
