I am proud to announce the commissioning of the 300MMscf/d Kwale Gas Gathering Hub in Ndokwa West, Delta State. This project, a collaboration between Nedogas Limited and the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), marks a significant milestone in our mission to harness Nigeria’s abundant gas resources for socio-economic development.
The Kwale Gas project aligns with our “Decade of Gas” initiative, aiming to transform Nigeria into a gas-powered economy by 2030. This facility will enhance our ability to efficiently process natural gas, boosting domestic supply and export potential. It stands as a testament to creative engineering, forward-thinking planning, and the power of public-private sector collaboration.
This establishment will generate jobs, foster industrial expansion, and ensure energy security, all while reducing the environmental impact by capturing associated gas that would otherwise be vented. The positive ripple effects will extend to various sectors, increasing electricity supply, industrial productivity, and providing more environmentally friendly energy options for homes.
